Church Bulletin, Sunday, May 5, 2024

Dear God, As we start this new week, We come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the gift of life and the opportunity to serve You in all we do. Thank You for the chance to begin this week with a fresh start and a renewed sense of purpose. Lord, I pray for the grace to remember You in every moment of our week.

Micheline’s surgery is still scheduled for 5/21. We’re praying that this date is firm – or that she’ll get a call any day because of a cancellation. She’s in constant pain and spends much of her time in bed. She is so grateful for your prayers, your messages, and calls. Much of the time her phone is silenced because any high-pitched noises or lights set off her migraines, which is quite frequent due to the pancreatic pain. We feel your prayers and are so grateful to each of you!

The Weiler family is anticipating (Lord willing) to attend a family reunion in the States the first week of June. Should Micheline’s surgery happen as scheduled and her recovery go smoothly, they will return to Charlottetown on June 7. Pastor Trip hasn’t seen his brother, Jason (in California), in almost two years. We’re praying that everything works out, and we’re trusting and yielding to the Lord every step of the way. Thank you for your prayers!

The church office answering machine is not working. If you have left the church office a voicemail and have not heard back, please give us a call. Hopefully this should be fixed soon.

Our centers continue to see a large increase in new clients and a huge need for direct support such as baby supplies, gift cards, and counselling services. In 2023, we had 205 new clients and 132 babies born! In 2024, we continue to welcome many new clients through our doors.
