I was born and brought up in Charlottetown and Central was my home church! Our family life revolved around church activities, Canoe Cove Christian Camp and youth conferences!! I was baptized at camp at age 13 and thought I had it all figured out!!

In 1975 – after getting my Dental Assisting certificate from Holland College – I went west to Calgary to attend Alberta Bible College. My home church was Cambrian/Bow Valley. No matter what else was happening in my life – my church family was always there!!! I signed up again to ABC later in life and graduated with a Bachelor of Religious Education at age 41!!! I was always connected to the children’s ministry and my title for many years was the Craft Queen!!

After my dad died in 2012, and I had a job change – I realized it was time to come home! After 37 years some things have changed – and some stay the same!! I’m back at Central – still working with kids – still doing crafts – and still covered in glitter!!!!
